Returns and Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase, but if something’s not quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return or refund. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed, we’re unable to offer a full refund or exchange.
Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and sent back in its original packaging. Please ensure you include proof of purchase (e.g. your receipt or order confirmation).
Please do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to let you know we’ve got it and confirm whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method. This usually happens within a few working days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
Haven’t Received Your Refund Yet?
If it’s taking longer than expected:
- Double-check your bank account
- Contact your card provider – it can take a little time to show
- Get in touch with your bank

Sale Items
Only full-priced items can be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable unless faulty.
Exchanges
We’re happy to replace items if they arrive damaged or defective. Drop us an email at info@yorkshireautomation.co.uk
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, we’ll send you a gift voucher.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or the order was sent to the gift giver, the refund will go to them.
Returning Your Item
Please note:
- Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty
- Shipping charges are non-refundable
- If you receive a refund, the return postage cost may be deducted
For high-value items, we recommend using a tracked service or buying shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your return.
